Youngsters to stand up and be men

Posted by James Dall on 1, December 2006

In 24 hours time the mood of every Arsenal fan in the country will have changed. Either for the better for the unthinkable worse

Wenger –

…we will beat them

I hope he is right otherwise I think our confidence in the team might completely diminish. Firstly team news, Henry is out after not being able to recover from the recurrence of his neck injury. Senderos is obviously not available through suspension. Gallas is still not available either and Flamini has a calf injury.

Then clearly there are the two long term absentees – Lauren and Diaby (both of who I desperately want back).

I would like to see the following starting line up –

Lehman, Eboue, Toure, Djourou, Clichy

Hleb, Fabregas, Gilberto, Rosicky

Van Persie, Baptista

I would love to see that, unfortunately chances are slim. Undoubtedly it will be 4-5-1 probably with Adebayor up front. I am nervous about the game, also from what I am reading in forums so is everyone else. Confidence is clearly low among us, maybe not expecting much will evolve into something beautiful tomorrow. Once again am really struggling for time what with all my uni work.

COME ON ARSENAL!!!
