Player(s) to be sold in January

Posted by James Dall on 18, December 2006

Morning, a quick one today as am off out in a min.

Wenger talks about how he is a bad loser. I agree with him in that anyone who is not a bad loser in essence shows they do not care as much. It is more apparent this season that he is emotions are more on the surface than usual, hard to explain why, maybe because we have had some dreadful results and he simply has lost it. I would have done too.

The other main topic is the issue of the January transfer window – it has been well documented that Arsene will not buy and once again this is confirmed by him and also our chairman. There is a nice little comment about the Chelsea game –

The first 11 that took to the field against Chelsea cost less than Andrei Shevchenko on his own

Excellent! The real meat of both statements is the fact we might actually sell. Who? I cannot put my finger on who might leave (Please be Song). I shall think on it today. If anyone has suggestions of who might be on there way out please leave a comment. And remember we have to be realistic! Although we all  think Freddie has lost about 12 yards of pace the chance of him leaving seems slim as he is a squad player and if he did go we would be weak in the area.

Right have a wonderful Monday. Until tomorrow.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Song and Aliadiere leaving. Not that I have anything against them, but they don’t look like they have what is required to be an Arsenal player.
